Angry Birds

A friend of mine is hooked on this game, and she turned 30 last week - so I googled - and found this little gem :)
I made her a card and a bookmark - and I hope she loved it as much as I do!!

What a hoot!

How cute is this little fella?? This is another project copied from Bronwyn Eastley.
I know I copy a lot - but that's part of the beauty of Stampin' Up! It has such amazingly generous demos who share their ideas and expertise - and I am just not creative enough to think of these things on my own!
This is made using really thin cork sheets (yes, our punches cut cork!) and is made into a magnet - I now have quite a few stuck to my fridge!

Rudolph the Reindeer

DSC02866

This was not part of the class, this is a card I made last year – surely Heather Summers was the instigator – where else do I go for punch art stuff??? She used the Big Shot and some sizzix dies for his antlers – but I don’t have those, and I’ve seen these done like this with two oval punches somewhere before, so I did too :) His legs are some random twine rope-y stuff :)

This scute scallop oval punch card is from Teresa - it also uses the quote from Fifth Avenue Floral - I LOVE that quote :)

Punchy Christmas Tree

DSC02809Another Heather Summers creation – this is one that I showed Sharlene, Patricia and Diane when we all got together here in Palmy – ooh ages ago now!! My camera has been dead for a while, but now it’s all good!!

Happy Belated Halloween

DSC02800 My daughter spent the better part of last week punching out cardstock – my lounge looked like a recycling bin! I have been taking online punch classes with Heather Summers (the punch goddess!!) and the last one focussed on holidays – Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween to be exact. So, Jordan had seen some of the ideas and wanted to have a go – so she did! We had bats and pumpkins and ghosts and witches and frankensteins all over the place! Then she got inspired and wanted to try her own idea! And this little devil was born! How great is that!!

birthday invite

my daughter had a movie birthday party, so this is the card I gave her. Again, from Heather's simply punches class, this is so much fun to make. The All in the Family set looks so great on the "movie strip" - yet another use for the spiral punch.

robot punches

another Heather creation. This is a party bag - but I am going to play and see if i can get it a bit smaller to fit on a card. It's just too big at the moment. Isn't he great though!!

baby onesie

I have been wanting to make one of these for ages. They are just so cute! I have NO reason to make one - although my cousin and his wife are due ANY DAY now - so hopefully I can make another for them!

pigs may fly....

.. or at least get magically stuck between a fence!
My daughter ponted out that this pig has the fence going right through it's middle - and it's bum should be behind the fence - but hey! it still looks cute! Another Heather Summers creation

holy cow!

hehe.. this is a card I saw somewhere - sorry can't remember where - I think it was a swap someone had?? - and anyway I had to do it. The original was a full size card, but I needed mine to be 4x4 to fit in my barn along with my other farmyard punch cards :)

punch cat

Heather Summers is one talented lady - and this is a total copy of a card she did for her simply punches class. Her cat has a taffeta ribbon tail, but I didn't have any, so mine is tail-less!

another stamp club card

Another Heather copy - we will be making the other 2 farm yard cards at stamp club this month. Along with the barn to put them in :)

stamp club cards

these came from the very first (I think!) UStamp that I did - Heather is so talented with her punch creations. Watch out for more of this type of card.
This is almost an exact copy - except I didn't have ribbon.

New Zealand - obviously!

My sideline Megan first introduced me to these gorgeous little creatures!

They are so easy to make - it's a just a white scallop, and a black or brown 5 petal punch, with white eyes.

This one is on old olive.

Simple - and with just a bit of tweaking, a cute tag for a Christmas present from New Zealand to the other side of the world, I think.

punch santa

this cute little fella has been doing the rounds of the blogs lately. So simple. I added a little bobble to the bottom of his hat. :)
