twitterpated two
You will be seeing lots of stuff with Twitterpated over the next little while. I need to get it out of my system!!
This is another CASE of a SAB card by Ann Schach - such a gorgeous card - and it's hard to tell the difference between the two! I do try and change things when I CASE - and I changed the paper completely on this card - but I guess the colours are just about the same. Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red instead of Pool Party and Poppy Parade. Oh well, I love them both!
If you love Twitterpated as much as I do, make sure you book a workshop and order it before it's all gone.

Twitterpated Pinwheel
I have been wanting to try one of these pinwheels for a while, and I saw this gorgeous card on Gretchen Barron's blog using the SAB papers. (sorry - my computer is being weird - I'll come back later and put the links in :(
I am in LOVE with the Twitterpated DSP in the new Autumn/Winter mini so thought I'd re-create the card using that.
The layout is basically the same as Gretchen's but I couldn't find a ribbon I liked the look of. I also have no SU buttons left, so I have usef contraband, but when my new order of twitterpated buttons arrive - I'll be making this again! The pinwheels are SO easy to make. Check out Gretchen's blog and see for yourself :)

Messy Desk
One of the reasons I don't get as much stamping done as I would like is that I HATE tidying up and I make such a mess that I have to tidy a lot!! This is what my desk looks like at the moment!! (see the bit with the pen?? That is where all the cutting and sticking happens!! Amazing how you adapt to what space you have!!) Guess I'll be tidying for a while later!!

More Easter....
You can never have too much chocolate right??? These used up a LOT of my retired only orange DSP from a couple of years ago. I knew it was a good idea to buy it when it was on mega-special! One day someone will post a cool idea for it!! I first saw the idea on Pinterest, but then it was all over - so I'm not sure who had the first thought - but thanks whoever you are!! These were made as a little token for all my work colleagues. Teachers LOVE chocolate, and put it in a cute little package and they go gaga :) these look so much cuter in real life - 'scuse the dark pic - I took it late at night after I hid them from my toddler who thought shiny paper meant they were all for him!! He managed to snaffle one - but I saved the rest!!

Happy Easter!
I CASEd this card from a demo in Australia - she used the "open sea" stamp set and the nautical DSP from the summer mini - and while I know we wont get the paper, I REALLY hope the stamp set comes back.
This card uses the SAB papers and another stamp set from the summer mini - topsy turvy celebrations. I know none of this is available any more but it was when I made it!! :)
Hope the Easter Bunny was good to everyone :)

Ornament Swap
I recently took part in an ornament swap organised by New Zealand Handmade - my swap partner was in the UK - so I had to get on to it quickly! This is what I sent her. My photo does NOT do this justice but I had to take the pic in a hurry, in order to get it in the mail to arrive in the UK before Christmas!
The ornament is made using the First Edition specialty paper - I love this stuff - it's thinner than normal DSP, so more manoeuverable (I have NO idea if that is spelt right!!) - perfect for the rosette. (I'm loving these rosettes too!! they take AGES to score but are so worth it in the end!)
The idea came from the awesomely talented Kimberley Van Diepen - and I didn't change much - added the Cherry Cobbler ribbon rather than the vanilla. You can't see it very well but the scallop square is covered in dazzlng diamonds, and the edge of the rosette is dipped in (contraband) gold glitter - it's so blingy in real life! love it!
I packaged it in a pizza box using retired jolly holiday paper, and the perfect punches stamp set with more bling.
I love the ornament, but wish my partner had been in NZ so I could have had a bit more time to play and jazz it up - but I hope she likes it!
I'll show you what I received in return tomorrow. It's SO cute! Not paper - but felt :)
