another we stamp project

This is another late attempt at a we stamp project. i have others - I just like to take my time!! :)

this uses an empty eclipse mint tin - i don't like them, but Jordan likes the cinnamon ones, so i got one of those. I am involved in a swap and you can send anything you like but it has to be SU only. So I decided to do one of these, and put some ribbon in it. Big mistake probably, coz now everything smells like cinnamon!! Oh, well, guess it could have been worse!!

So, anyway - I covered the tin with Good morning sunshine DSP (seriously, not my favourite, but the single coloured patterned sheets are lovely) - then I used Eastern Blooms, and stamped the big flower in pumpkin pie, the smaller flower in pacific point, and added a brad to the middle. Cute :)

chocolate box holder

better late than never! This is a project from WeStamp - well kind of! Michelle did a guylian chocolate box cover, but she used the long box - well i had a square one! So i took her idea, and just changed the measurements to fit my box. My finished product is really boring, but seriously, after working out the measurements I was over it!! Gives me a whole new level of respect for those who can come up with projects like this on their own! Having said that, I'm sure I will have another go now that i know what the measurements are :)

This uses pale plum and perfect plum, and the butterfly from Dreams du Jour.

baby arrived :)

well, I have no project, but just wanted to say that the baby I was talking about a few posts ago arrived. Her name is Ava Rose, and she is a gorgeous wee dot! She only weighed 5 pound something!
So a big congratulations Nick and Michelle. The card is in the mail - along with the CUTEST dresses I got :) Not practical but who cares!

notepad

'Scuse the photo! I suck at taking 3d pics! (not that great at 2d pics either, but that's another story!!)
this is a notepad that i got from the local $2 shop - 4 for $2 -bargain!!- and decided to cover them as little hostess gifts, or some such things.
This one uses candy lane DSP, and the saying from fifth avenue floral. Love that set!!

birthday invite

my daughter had a movie birthday party, so this is the card I gave her. Again, from Heather's simply punches class, this is so much fun to make. The All in the Family set looks so great on the "movie strip" - yet another use for the spiral punch.

robot punches

another Heather creation. This is a party bag - but I am going to play and see if i can get it a bit smaller to fit on a card. It's just too big at the moment. Isn't he great though!!

baby onesie

I have been wanting to make one of these for ages. They are just so cute! I have NO reason to make one - although my cousin and his wife are due ANY DAY now - so hopefully I can make another for them!

re-inker water colouring

This has been all over blogger land recently, and I tried this ages ago.
I blatantly copied Sharlene Meyer's layout, but didn't have the fifth avenue floral set at the time - so used embrace life.
the top note is cut by hand (takes ages!!) - but worth it - such a classy look.
If you haven't seen it before, check out patty's tutorial to find out how to do this simple, yet stunning technique.

pigs may fly....

.. or at least get magically stuck between a fence!
My daughter ponted out that this pig has the fence going right through it's middle - and it's bum should be behind the fence - but hey! it still looks cute! Another Heather Summers creation

holy cow!

hehe.. this is a card I saw somewhere - sorry can't remember where - I think it was a swap someone had?? - and anyway I had to do it. The original was a full size card, but I needed mine to be 4x4 to fit in my barn along with my other farmyard punch cards :)

punch cat

Heather Summers is one talented lady - and this is a total copy of a card she did for her simply punches class. Her cat has a taffeta ribbon tail, but I didn't have any, so mine is tail-less!

long time no see :)

ok.. so I think I finally got my blogger issues sorted!
My computer and blogger do NOT seem to like each other, and I was seriously considering moving to typepad or some other such thing. BUT all the blogs I read are on blogger, so it wouldn't actually fix my problem anyway!!
ANYWAY......
I have a HEAP of stuff to share, so will start now:)

This is a card I have been thinking about for ages, since seeing the cute dress cards Patty made with the big scallop circle in the big shot. But I don't have the big shot, but still wanted to make the dresses, so thought I'd do a smaller version using the scallop circle punch.
I CASE'd this card by Heather, my SBS sister for the layout - such a cool layout actually and one I will be using again.
hope you like it :)
